SVN Florida assembles statewide group of accomplished land advisors offering full-service land representation
SVN Florida Land Alliance features an unparalleled roster of 14 expert advisors with transactions of more than 12,000 acres and sales of approximately $500 million
NAPLES, Fla. (June 7, 2018) – SVN Florida Commercial Real Estate Advisors has assembled a best-in-class group of accomplished advisors to serve landowners and investors in every region of the state, the company announced today at the Urban Land Institute Florida Summit in Naples. SVN Florida Land Alliance features a roster of 14 land-sale experts, led by Ashley Barrett Bloom, SVN’s National Land & Development Services Product Council Chairman.
“Land can be a complicated process and the advisors selected for the alliance each have extensive experience in that market segment,” said Bloom, who specializes in land development. “With this alliance, clients can be assured they are getting highly qualified specialists within the asset class they own.”
The alliance is a sponsor of the ULI summit, which connects more than 600 leading commercial real estate professionals in the state, including developers, architects and land-use planners, among others. The event takes place Thursday and Friday (June 7-8).
The land service and development specialists are unmatched, offering the most comprehensive local, regional and national platform of any commercial real brokerage in the state, whether a client is a seller or buyer. FLA’s reach covers every corner of the state from the Panhandle to Keys. It has handled sales of approximately half-billion dollars and currently is listing more than 10,000 acres on its website www.svnfla.com.
“Clients will be happy that the site is exclusive to land listings, where they don’t have to scroll through dozens of additional listings to find acreage opportunities,” Bloom said. “There’s nothing like it in the state.”
Each qualified advisor has a strong client base in specific land classes and can create a marketing plan that covers the spectrum of sales opportunities. The plan can include fast sale, full marketing exposure, subject to permit, bulk sale, parcel sales, joint venture and accelerated sales.
The SVN Florida Land Alliance specialists and their Florida regions: Big Bend and Northwest: Kevin Wattenbarger (CCIM) and William Ogburn; Central: Ali Mushtaq, Miquel De Arcos; Miami Monroe: Matt Rotolante (CCIM, SIOR); Northeast and Space Coast: Chris Butera, Tim Davis (CCIM); North Central: Bartow McDonald; Southeast and Treasure Coast: Rob Hamman, David Kendall; Southwest: Bloom, Steve Cunningham (CCIM, MAI), Bryan Myers, Ron Zeigler; Tampa Bay: Bloom, Ron Zeigler
“By creating the SVN Florida Land Alliance, we now have an unparalleled roster of land advisors to serve every inch of the state,” said Jerry Anderson, CCIM, executive managing director of SVN Florida. “I feel confident in saying that no other brokerage can offer the expertise and knowledge that this group of specialists as a whole provides clients. And they’re excited to be working together.”
Anderson added that by coordinating the right professionals and consultants as an owner’s representative helps to ensure a consistent point of contact for the entire group of specialists. By providing deliverables in the form of project accounting and reporting, the alliance’s land and development services promote a fully integrated approach that serves to enhance project communication and the achievement of critical path milestones. The results are value-added services focused on maximizing the owner’s goals.
Among recent transaction by SVN FLA are a 543.73-acre development tract in Punta Gorda, which sold for $6.5 million, and a 1,287-acre property in Palm Beach County, which sold for $19.3 million.
Alliance advisors are currently completing assignments on parcels from less than an acre to tracts that are more than 1,000 acres, including a 6,000-acre listing in Edgewater in Volusia County and the landmark Legacy Harbour Marina in Fort Myers. Careful consideration is given on each property to ensure the right advisor with the right skills and relationships is assigned the asset.
